Details: The GVMC Circle Tour will be held on June 21st - 23rd, 2019. This is a Closed Club Event open to family and friends. Save this date for a great weekend of fun and socializing while riding your motorcycle.

Overview: Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast: We will leave on the Friday June 21st heading the long way northbound from Victoria towards Courtenay BC. We will stay at the Port Augusta Inn,Comox B.C. where we will stay for two nights. On the following day we will explore the Island on route to Gold River. The last day we will head to the Sunshine Coast to Powell River. It will be a long day home, but very relaxing breaks on the 3 ferries home. (The Sunshine Coast Ferries towards Earls Cove and Horseshoe Bay are free)
Accommodation: Heated Pool We will be basing ourselves in Comox, B.C. at the Port Augusta Inn where we have blocked 15 rooms. As this area fills up for the summer very quickly we advise early room bookings. Bookings for the GVMC reserved rooms must be done by June 1st.

Saturday Circle Tour Ride : Participants may choose to ride to Gold River which is about a two and one half hour ride having lunch in Gold River. Those who do not want to do such a long ride can ride with the group as far as Strathcona Park which is on the way to Gold River and takes about one and one half hours.

Event Comments: 2019 14th Annual GVMC Circle Tour
THE ANNUAL CIRCLE TOUR REMAINS A CLUB MEMBERS AND GUESTS ONLY EVENT.
June 21, 22, 23/2019 was the 2019 Circle Tour. Friday everyone was to make it to Comox on their own, which happened without incident. 19 Bikes and 8 Passengers arrived safely and had a social hour outside Ron Gaudette’s (Event Organizer) room. Saturday morning the participants were to drive to Gold River to partake in the sights and have lunch. There were only 15 Bikes on the run as some of the riders were sick and some were tired and just wanted to lounge around the pool. Of course Dave Seifert took off on his own and went to Gold River and back before lunch. The rest of went in two groups and had a nice relaxing run siting a Buck Deer and a Bear Cub on the way. It was a great ride on a sunny day with no traffic. Dinner was at the Black Fin Pub, which I think everyone agreed was goooood. Sunday morning everyone went home their own way as some wanted to get home quickly and others wanted to carry on and go down the Sunshine Coast. Everyone arrived home safely. Hope to see everyone out again next year for another weekend adventure.
